1. Introduction & Purpose

Arkansas Skunkworks, LLC (d/b/a System61) provides this Privacy Policy to outline how we collect, use, and safeguard information across our digital properties. This Policy was created to ensure confidence in our data protection, privacy standards, and handling of any information you choose to provide. It may be updated periodically, and we encourage regular review.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to our websites, informational and support tools, demonstration environments, and evaluation platforms, including the System61 Demo App and the Sidecore Sandbox.

Production financial systems operated on behalf of financial institutions are governed by separate institutional agreements. Those agreements take precedence over this Privacy Policy in all cases.

3. Collection of Information

When you contact us or request access to System61 technology, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, company affiliation, job title, or similar identifiers. This information is used only to respond to your inquiries, enable access, or provide follow-up information you have requested.

Within our demonstration environments, including the System61 Demo App and the Sidecore Sandbox, information may be entered for testing and demonstration purposes. The System61 Demo App, made available through controlled mobile application distribution channels for demonstration purposes only, operates solely with non-production test data and does not store or process live consumer financial information. The Sidecore Sandbox may require real contact information to enable access and support functionality. Any information you choose to enter is used only to support access and demonstrate features within these environments.

4. Use of Information

Information we collect or receive is used only for access administration, demonstration functionality, security monitoring, and responding to your requests. IP address information is received automatically as part of standard network communication when you interact with our systems. Limited technical details, such as IP addresses associated with access events, may be logged only to support secure system operation, maintain audit trails, and uphold internal compliance requirements. This information is not used for marketing, analytics, advertising, profiling, behavioral tracking, or any purpose unrelated to system security and access integrity.

5. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. Limited access may be involved for service providers who support secure system operation, access administration, email delivery, and platform hosting. These providers process information only on our behalf and only as necessary to provide their technical functions. They do not use the information for marketing, profiling, analytics, or any independent purpose. These providers do not access information in a human readable form, and processing is automated. Information may be disclosed if required by law or to protect the security and integrity of our systems.

6. Retention of Information

Information is processed and stored in the United States. Information is retained only for as long as necessary to support access administration, system security, and required auditing. Demonstration data is not stored beyond its limited evaluation purpose. Access records are removed or anonymized when no longer required. Demonstration environments may be periodically reset to maintain a consistent evaluation state, and any test data entered may be cleared as part of that process.

7. Mailing Communications

If mailing communications are offered, information you provide for enrollment, such as your name and email address, will be used only to deliver those communications. Enrollment in mailing communications is entirely voluntary and is not connected to access or use of the System61 Demo App, the Sidecore Sandbox, or other System61 environments; users are never automatically subscribed. These communications may include release notes, change logs, system updates, security advisories, and other informational notices related to System61 technology. Subscription information will not be shared with external marketers, will not be combined with demographic data for profiling, and will not be used for advertising or targeted outreach. You may unsubscribe from mailing communications at any time using the instructions included in those communications. Information used solely for mailing communications will be removed or anonymized when it is no longer required to support that function.

8. Security Controls

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information and limit access to authorized use. Access to demonstration environments and related systems is controlled through authentication and role-based permissions. Security logging and monitoring are implemented to support system integrity and compliance requirements. These measures are intended to protect information in a manner appropriate to its purpose and to the functions described in this Policy.

9. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Cookies may be used within System61 web properties for essential functionality, including authentication and secure session continuity. Certain analytics tools may be used on our public informational website (system61.com) to understand general visit patterns and site navigation. Analytics data is aggregated and not used for advertising, profiling, behavioral targeting, or cross-site marketing.

Demonstration environments, including the System61 Demo App and the Sidecore Sandbox, use only functional cookies or local storage required for authenticated access and session continuity. These environments do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, marketing pixels, cross-site tracking, or behavioral analytics technologies.

Production financial systems operated on behalf of financial institutions, including Sidecore Atlas, use only essential authentication cookies required for secure login functionality. No analytics tools, advertising identifiers, cross-site tracking technologies, or marketing pixels are used within Atlas. Cookie behavior in these environments is governed by institutional security requirements rather than this Policy.

Additional details regarding cookie behavior are provided in our Cookie Policy at https://system61.com/cookie-policy/.

10. External Links

Our websites and demonstration environments may contain links to external sites that are not operated by System61. We are not responsible for the content, security practices, or privacy policies of those sites. Any information you provide to external sites is governed by their terms and privacy practices rather than this Policy, and we encourage you to review their applicable policies before providing information.

11. Other

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy, each of which is accessible through the footer of our website.

System61 may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in applicable practices or legal requirements. We encourage users to review this Policy from time to time to remain informed.
